Outsourced medical billing PERSONALIZED to your practice

Chickadee Medical Insurance Billing's mission is to provide you with personalized, professional, and cost-effective medical billing services. CMIB actual services are customized to meet your needs. Below are two packages that most commonly meet our customer's needs. Let us know how we can customize them to meet your's.

Basic Service - Filing claims only

  • Electronic and paper claim submission (1st, 2nd, 3rd insurance carrier)
  • Claims editing resulting in fewer rejected claims
  • Immediate claim correction and/or resubmission
  • Claim submission summary report
  • Notification of rejected claims within 24 to 48 hrs.

Full Service

  • The basic filing services listed above.
  • Follow up to assure claims have been accepted.
  • Calling insurance companies to check the status of your claims.
  • Posting payments to your claims.
  • Filing secondary on paper with primary EOB attachment.
  • Tracking unpaid procedures and sending Letters of Medical Necessity.
  • Notifications to clinic on any additional information required to adjudicate your claims.
  • We will also send out Patient Statements.

End of Month Reports
Full Service Clients
Weekly patient accounts will be uploaded to your computer so you will be equipped to answer your patient's questions. Reports submitted monthly that reflect: Accounts Receivable Aging, Practice Analysis (a diagram of charges, payments and adjustments), Unable To Bill Out Report (a list of patients who require attention and/or additional information), Birthday Report, Payment Analysis Report, Encounter Analysis Report.

Support Support
Includes telephone calls to and from our office concerning patient accounts as well as any in-house concerns or insurance questions. The unlimited support is automatically included to our full service client as it also covers database and patient account maintenance.

Past Account Collection
Collection on claims that were submitted and uncollected prior to our contract with you.
