Build your Team
Your
team is chosen from your downline members. They are the
ones that work hard and are productive. They are also
the ones that are strong in areas that you may be weak
in, so together you will make a complete team with strong
characteristics in all the necessary business areas. Working
together you will support yourself, your team and the
rest of your downline.
1.
Pick your team-mates like you were hiring employees
or management staff. Like you would if you were building
a corporation from scratch. You want to find self starters
that bring something to the table, more than just their
appetite to make money.
I
know this is not mainstream thinking but when someone
asks me what I going to do to support them, ask them what
skills, energy and experience they are bringing to the
team. I spend more of time supporting people who get results,
Why? Because my time is important too, and I'm doing this
to make money. People will tell you all kinds of things
to get your attention but in reality ask them to show
you not tell you. The people that learn quickly, can plan
and are willing to work towards goals are the ones that
will stick around, the rest are just shopping.
Many
people are looking for hand holders. It's OK to hold someone's
hand from time to time but you can never make a success
out of someone who is not willing to work and think things
through. As in most occupations the majority of people
are waiting for someone else to do all the work. When
you find these people send them to those other guys that
spend all day hand holding because they haven't accomplished
anything worth duplicating. Just being a friend is not
enough it takes skills that are learned over time through
effort.
If
it's true that every seed gives birth to fruit of it's
own kind you are looking for those seeds that are right.
You would never plant a peach and expect to grow a watermelon
it's not in it's nature, just as you would never plant
cactus in the rain forest.
How
do you find out what they are? Simple listen - I think God
gave us all two ears and only one mouth for a reason.

Think long term. Over 90% give up before
making much money. Don't spend extra money just to save
time in the beginning. Don't ever allow yourself to be rushed.
Sales scams depend on getting others to feel that they must
act this minute. Your results will always depend on your
efforts, timing is more important once you have already
made money not when your starting at zero. Take your time.
It's more important that you choose wisely in the beginning,
you can't go back and do the beginning over. That's why
people quit because they get rushed into something that's
not right for them, if they start over it's usually with
another program then another. In order to make the big money
you need to learn how to make some money, when you have
made some you can teach what you now know to others. When
you help others the same money you will always make more
and more yourself.
Once you start making money - grow till you make at
least $ 300 a month and then add diversify to your business.
You must learn to make your business grow first how else
would you get the funds to diversify. You diversify so
that all your eggs are not in one basket.
If
McDonald would have stopped with the first hamburger stand
it never would have become the giant it is today, but
if McDonalds had gone into the car business after their
first success they wouldn't have been able to leverage
or convert their success experience. Once your making
money start planning how to leverage what you have already
learned.
Again
this is not mainstream thinking. Most people will go with
the proven winner. But what if your chosen business runs
into difficulty. The nature of Network marketing is that
- what is the rage now may be replaced by the new &
better products compensation plans etc in the future.
Your
first On-line business should be at least somewhat HOT
in the marketplace but just as any good investor will
buy conservative stock and sometimes buy a risky but more
profitable stock, in the long run develop a mix conservative
long term businesses that will work year after year. Only
shoot for the stars as a sideline like others do with
the lottery - it's just as much fun you have better odds.
I
worked one business for almost a year and used most of
the profit to diversify now I am comfortably working several.
I couldn't have been successful working several until
I learned how to make one business work.
3.
BUILD ONE TEAM: In multi-level marketing it's
called a downline. I consider it to be more like a team.
What I call the Mastermind alliance is just helping others
with your strengths and getting help from others in their
areas of expertise. In a perfect world everyone would do
what they were drawn to and good at.
I
prefer to call multi-level marketing cooperative marketing.
Why start with new people every time you find a new opportunity.
Isn't it smarter to bring in many of the people you have
worked with before - or to go with them when the opportunity
is perfect for their skills and interests. Build a team,
learn when to be a team leader and learn when to be a
team member, regardless of your position.
Once
you learn how to be a leader you can learn when to serve.
You will find that if you focus on making your team money
you will end up making more yourself, you cant help it.
You do this by learning then teaching. If you build your
co-op right, you will find other leaders to work with,
or they will find you. You may all focus slightly on different
businesses but using cooperative teamwork and synergy
you all earn more and do a better job.
